Cochabamba, one of the main cities of Bolivia, is located high in the Andes mountains, 1.5 miles (8300 ft.) above sea level. A huge statue of Christ stands on a nearby mountain.
What Don Bosco meant by riches more valuable than gold that would come through the mountains of this place has never been understood. But for us we could see that in two stories that we were examining, something was happening here in Cochabamba that would certainly make the eyes of the world turn to this place.
