Equally impressive as another sign of Christ's living presence in Cochabamba that is seen happening in the life of Katya Rivas.

Katya's worldly life took a change when she began to have some very special supernatural experiences.

In the video, Dr. Castañón describes how, at the request of a priest, he began studying Katya Rivas.

Dr. Castañón first met and interviewed Katya in June 1994.  In the video he described his thoughts and observations.  He did not think that Katya was lying but there was nothing with Katya at that time that he, as a scientist, could point to which was measurable and scientifically unexplainable like he had observed before with other visionaries.

In October 1994, Katya went on a pilgrimage to the United States, where it was believed that the Virgin Mary had appeared.  Katya spoke of what happened to her when she knelt in front of the life-sized crucifix:

"I saw a light all around the Christ, a very strong light.  And then I saw the necessity to offer my life to the Lord, so that He could use it in whatever way He needed to use it, to give Him thanks for all that He did for me."

Katya described how four very strong rays of light then came out of the hands, feet and side of the crucified Christ and into her hands, feet and heart like lightning bolts.  The pain was so strong that she fell to the ground.  Two days later in Costa Rica Jesus told her:

"Enjoy the gift that I have given you ... because there are many people that ask Me for this - to share the suffering of My Cross and this I reserved only for those that are capable to love Me as I need to be loved."

Katya asked that the stigmata remain hidden but Jesus said: "For now, no, but, when I think it is necessary, this can be seen by all. . ."
